FMI recently joined the corner of white collar boxer Glen McAllister helping him with sponsorship to help him fulfil his dreams of getting in the ring in a charity bout for Macmillan Cancer.
Glen, who is also a member of Vesey Casuals Rugby side, is hoping to raise funds for the charity with his first ever fight on March 22 at Prysm Nightclub in Birmingham.
The middleweight pugilist said he was extremely grateful to David and the team for the support with training equipment, kit and nutrition and said his generous donation had helped kick off the fundraising.
“I’m so grateful to FMI for the support which means I can just concentrate on my training and hopefully bringing the belt back. It’s great to know I have someone stepping up for me as I go into the ring in aid of a charity which means a lot to me having lost family and friends to cancer over the years.”
